As a Supply Chain Analyst at Progress Lighting, you will play a critical role in supporting our supply chain operations by leveraging your technical skills, analytical thinking, and knowledge of supply chain principles. This is an entry to mid-level position ideal for individuals who are passionate about data analysis, problem-solving, and optimizing processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate and analyze reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics related to supply and demand planning to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead service meetings to review performance metrics for key customers from our distribution centers, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Support the S&OP process by providing data analysis, insights, and recommendations as needed to ensure alignment between demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory management.
• Assist buyers and planners by providing analytical support, data-driven insights, and recommendations to optimize procurement strategies, inventory levels, and supplier relationships.
• Potential for cross functional support in areas such as sourcing, logistics, and distribution centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, Power BI, IBP, SQL, Tableau, Python) to extract, manipulate, and visualize data.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, with a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and influence decision-making.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.
• Prior experience or internships in supply chain, logistics, or related fields is a plus, but not required.
